Duke Energy Generation Services, Inc. (DEGS) develops, owns and operates electric generation for large energy consumers, municipalities, utilities and industrial facilities. We currently manage approximately 5,000 megawatts of power generation at 32 facilities throughout the United States. DEGS has approximately 250 megawatts of wind energy under construction, and an additional 5,000 megawatts of wind energy projects in the pipeline located primarily in the Central, Western, and Southwestern regions of the United States.
We specialize in developing innovative and environmentally sound generation solutions to meet your energy needs using a diverse mix of fuels including natural gas, coal, biomass, wind, as well as other renewable energy sources.
