Overview
Duke Energy Generation Services (DEGS) entered into a 20-year agreement with Procter & Gamble (P&G) to take over the operation and maintenance of a combined steam and electric power plant, electric infrastructure, water, sewer and steam distribution system for the Ivorydale industrial complex located in St. Bernard, Ohio.
Procter & Gamble, a global corporation based in Cincinnati, Ohio, manufactures a wide range of consumer products. The Ivorydale industrial complex encompasses several facilities owned by P&G as well as others. Ivorydale produces products such as liquid detergent, glycerin, fat-free cooking oil, vegetable shortening and bar soap.
