Overview

Duke Energy Generation Services entered into a 20-year agreement with Celanese Acetate to own, operate, maintain and upgrade the utilities facility at the Celanese Acetate complex in Narrows, Virginia. The Narrows complex manufactures acetate flake, fiber and filament used to make fabric in the clothing industry and requires highly reliable supplies of steam and electricity.
