Overview
Duke Energy Generation Services (DEGS), in a joint venture with SUEZ Energy, signed an energy outsourcing agreement with Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. that provided the framework for DEGS to design, build and operate combined heat and power facilities capable of providing all process steam and electricity needs for the Millennium Inorganic Chemicals complex in Ashtabula, Ohio. Millennium Inorganic Chemicals is the world’s second largest producer of titanium oxide.
