    • Overview

    Duke Energy Generation Services (DEGS) assumed operations and maintenance of four power plants owned by KGen LLC. DEGS also provides, when requested, technical and commercial services, health and safety services, and human resources support for plant employees.

    The gas-fired plants are located in Mississippi, Georgia and Arkansas. They have a combined generating capacity of approximately 3,020 megawatts and feature either combined or simple cycle systems.
